About Us

Villa Sunfield was founded in 2001 by Sister Lesley Bossert who has over 35 years of frail care management, who now lives on site and is one of the residents. Villa Sunfield is now run by her daughter Kerry Jagga.

Set in a peaceful location in Durban North, Villa Sunfield offers a safe and welcoming space where residents living with Dementia and Alzeimers disease are treated with respect and compassion. Our team combines professional expertise with genuine kindness, creating an environment where every individual feels valued and supported.

We provide personalised care plans based on a 3-day assessment upon admission, ensuring each resident’s needs are fully understood.

With 24/7 nursing care, palliative and end-of-life support, and a compassionate team, we are committed to helping residents live with dignity and comfort.

We are also a designated home for carers undergoing their practical training, ensuring continuous growth in care standards.
